What Are Women Wearing In Australian Winter

Winter hot trends on ‘Sale’ now.

Winter hot trends are being showcased now and have been for the last few months in all stores. The good news is that sales have started everywhere! We have had a lovely mild Autumn and it’s only been in the last week where the mercury is dropping daily. With sales everywhere now is the time to plan and complete your winter wardrobe. You probably have already picked up a few winter goodies, but I’m sure there’s room for a few more items in your closet. Shop smart and go for some of the classics. On the other hand its sale time and now is the time to pick up a bargain and treat yourself  to a couple of trendy items as well.

TRENCH COAT:

Every woman should have at least one Trench Coat in her closet.   A can’t-live-without winter staple – I have one in black and one in sand, a fabulous neutral colour, I love it! I often get asked what style trench coat I should buy. A classic trench coat is always a great buy and you just can’t go wrong, really! If you’re you’re feeling a little more daring, try an edgy modern twist to the trench. This year’s best trench coat comes in various styles accessorised with, lace, leather, relaxed fabric’s and also in some amazing colours that just pop.

I’ve been wearing my trench coat pretty regularly, which thrown on over a pair of skinny jeans, jeggings or slough pants. At the moment boots and scarf’s are a must to complete mu ensemble.  When Spring comes around in less than 2 months, wear your trench as a dress, add killer heels and look taller and sexier.  For a more effortless chic look, team up with a pair of trainers.

LUXE LEATHER:

A classic biker style leather jacket. Try something a little more edgy, like this quilted black leather biker jacket, it’s the must have style of the season, it’s a perennially cool investment piece.  Super soft and supple leather, the classic biker style features quilted shoulders and sleeves as well as luxe metal hardware. Another fabulous colour trending strong is mulberry, a really nice alternative to black. Look out for this fabulous tough luxe beautiful biker jacket by Witchery. Was $595 now $395.

JEANS:

As with fit, the feel of denim is just as important as how they fall. There’s nothing worse than a pair of jeans that don’t breathe, stretch or move well with you. From skinny, straight, highwaist’s, interesting distressing boyfriend to slough. There are so many different directions you can take denim, from colour, textures and style.

Will you be wearing white jeans this winter? They were more of a niche look for summer, something you might wear on a cruise or beach holidays. White jeans have been trendy strong this year and I actually quite like the look.

BOOTS:

Whether they’re chic ankle boots, sleek knee-high or stylish lace-ups, there’s a wide range of on-trend boots in your favourite shoe stores on sale right now! One of my all-time favourite shoe stores is ZOMP. Having said that, I tried on a gorgeous pair of suede, light camel ankle boots in ZARA the other day. Absolutely fabulous, but I had already purchased a very, very similar pair last year, that are still in great condition. So, I happily walked out with a pair of classic pointy toe, rose coloured suede heels instead, absolutely Super comfy and paid on sale $60. Jimmy Choo did something so very similar, and as you know the price difference would be significant.
